Coming from Baltimore, MD A$AP Ant aka YG Addie found himself as a member of New York collective A$AP Mob. Many people’s introduction to the rapper was his appearance on “Bath Salts” on the groups 2012 mixtape Lords Never Worry. Since that memorable verse, Ant has progressed tremendously to the point where people are claiming him as the best in A$AP Mob. In 2018, things started to change for the rapper when he dropped his project “The Prelude.” Featuring the popular single “Diamond Dust”, on the 7-track project Addie introduced a new sound to separate himself from the pack. Since then he’s dropped 4 more projects, experimenting with his sound on each one.

With all that he’s accomplished so far in his career, Ant has done it without any major co-signs. He’s only worked with in house producers and nearly all of his features come from his Marino Infantry camp. In April the rapper booked his own show (along with Marino Infantry), nearly selling out College Park, MD’s Milkboy Arthouse. He’s also developed his own merchandise, as part of Marino’s clothing line. Throughout his music, as well as other ventures, Ant has proven himself to be one of rap’s hardest workers.
