Merchants of Music Presents!
BzCo, Bobby Zonit, Morgan Gold, Caleb Justinger
The surprises of BzCo (pronounced Biz Co) is the outgrowth of Bobby Zonit and his friends that will take the stage with him. This has always been an evening of surprises and high energy music. Past “friends” have included members of Captain Coopersmith and Alabaster. Bobby, while usually a solo performer puts on his “frontman’ hat and directs the band and leads his friends to new heights. This is always a great crowd pleaser and a show not to be missed, as this is the first Chicago city show for BzCo.
Bobby Zonit is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of Baraboo, WI. His style varies from a rich jazz-blues fusion with a smooth R&B twist to lyrically mesmerizing folk tunes with a dash of soul. He comes from a small town packed with lots of artistic talent, and has grown accustomed to being surrounded by music and musicians that inspire him. He gathers much of his inspiration, in fact, from his friends and fellow artists who he gets to sit in and jam with. Solo artists and bands like Alabaster, Captain Coppersmith, Morgan Gold, and Caleb Justinger just to name a few. He hopes to one day not only perform, but write and produce music for various artists. He believes that he has something special to share, and is optimistic for the future. So come on out and catch a show to see what he has in store!
Morgan Gold is a 19-year-old pop/R&B singer/songwriter born in Orange County, CA and raised in Schaumburg, IL. Morgan has been singing and playing guitar since she was 10-years-old and grew up acting and performing in musical theater productions. Her inspirations vary greatly, from Stevie Wonder to The Weeknd to Grateful Dead to Tyler The Creator. Morgan is also influenced by SZA, Frank Ocean, Gabriel Garzon-Montano, Bryce Vine, Dirty Heads, Bob Marley, and the whole genre of Motown/Soul music. She loves writing for multiple genres, but prefers writing pop/R&B music. Morgan is currently attending Columbia College Chicago where she studies comedy. She is very interested in pursuing a music career, while still doing acting and comedy projects on the side. Her goals as an artist include being as versatile as possible in order to appeal to multiple audiences and genres. She wants to pay homage to her heroes that came before her while putting a modern twist on it. She says that her ultimate goal is to win a Grammy!
